ABOUT:
Korie Pickett...AKA KP...AKA The Hustle Queen...herself came alive on her 25th year of living. After a lifelong passion for photography KPFEELFOTOS was created with the vision and intention of capturing fotos full of feeling. It actually started as a photo project on the streets of Broadripple, IN; where she took photos of strangers and then asked them how the experiences felt for them. Taking fotos of strangers then evolved into capturing her loved ones. Fotos of loved ones evolved into new friendships and events full of music and passion. KP was then able to use her marketing and business education to further the careers of other artist's like herself.
KP prides herself on being a facilitator of growth and promoter of passion. QUEEN SPIRIT MAGAZINE was birthed from her swelling pride in the advancement and healing of herself and others with similar stories to tell. KP needed a community, so she created one for herself. The world of words has always been a safe and healing space for KP; you can find evidence of this through her poetry and spoken word album entitled "KORudos."
We all have trauma to heal from, and KP does her healing through creation. QUEEN KP ORIGINALS are unique creations inspired by emotion with the purpose of "wearing it how you feel it." In order to understand yourself you must take care of yourself and KP does that through her intentional creating and art therapy that she has created for herself and others.
In 2020 KP was awarded "Artist of the Year" through Nickel Plate Arts in Noblesville, IN due to her constant commitment to a creative life. She was also able to found and establish Queen Spirit, INC.; a non profit entity that is committed to creative movements that save lives by creating avenues for creatives of all mediums to live more sustainable lives through their artistry.
